Baltimore Pride 365,Inc is a newly formed nonprofit company incorporated in the state of Maryland in November of 2020 under a 501(1)(3) Corporation with help of Legal Zoom. This company is created for the sole purpose of providing resources to our disadvantaged citizens of the City. Now it’s about the four B’s. Building Baltimore Back Better. “ We have to Build for What is Needed Now” I have an idea, and that is "A Good Fight" There is a mental and physical War going on in our cities across America. We must prepare and organize our troops to defeat poverty, systemic racism and the lack of a better Education system. This is why we must have this fight to save the villages of our city. Baltimore Pride 365, Inc. is enlisting Volunteers who would like to be a Patriot for B-more. We are recruiting retired teachers, therapist, nutritionist, police officers, judges and lawyers.
Living on the streets of Baltimore under "The Bridge" downtown is just one of the many area’s where disadvantaged citizens call home. They live under the bridge which is route 83 and sleep in tents with no restroom, no running water. They keep warm in the winter by burning wood in a trash can. Baltimore Pride is created to address these problems, and this is just one of the many problems our citizens face everyday. Baltimore Pride would like to challenge the business leaders, educational institutions, medical industry and City Hall engage in a collaborative conversation.
I believe by Networking together we would have the expertise to solve some of the many problems our disadvantaged citizens face everyday. I would like this nonprofit to be designed by the people for the people. Baltimore Pride will fundraise capital to design a community plaza with multiple benefits that will include: a meal center, community center, catering business, laundromat, office space for social service and all profits will go back into the non-profit for operating expenses incurred by supporting the homeless.
One example of the benefits would be a designated area with retired teachers assisting and tutoring students that had fallen behind. Classes may include but not are not limited to: Foreign Languages , English, Spanish, Italian, parenting 101 and recreational activities. Baltimore Pride would like to established a neighborhood basketball team in the hope of the young men will learn responsibility, discipline as well as unity.
